Companies and people

Engagements from the past year, described by sector. Each began with a notability analysis or an improvement analysis, and each verdict was delivered in writing before any drafting was scoped.

Consumer hardwareNew article, likely notable

A venture-backed device maker asked whether it qualified. The record held four staff-written features across three countries, plus a run of announcement coverage in top business outlets that came from the company's own numbers. The analysis separated the two: the features carry the case, the announcements verify facts with attribution. We recommended proceeding and scoped the article.

Enterprise softwareNotability analysis, not yet

A private-equity-owned software group with four ownership changes and a great deal of press. Most of it was acquisition announcements and arranged executive profiles, which Wikipedia discounts. A deeper search found detailed deal reporting in specialist finance outlets and confirmed that the national papers' archives were unreachable through search. The verdict stayed at not yet, with the archive search named as the next step.

Location-based entertainmentNew article, likely notable

A multi-venue entertainment company with staff coverage in two major dailies, a national feature prompted by an investment, and a Wall Street Journal trend piece. The analysis flagged that two of the strongest sources sprang from the same announcement, and built the case so it did not depend on either.

Consumer electronics accessoriesImprovement analysis

An existing article on an accessories brand that misrepresented the company's scope and overstated a controversy. The improvement plan framed every source as material for the rewrite, named the citations that would come out and the rule that removes them, and folded the audit and the changes into one narrative the client could follow.

Public figureDeletion defense

An author and academic whose article was nominated for deletion during a period of intense coverage. We diagnosed the section drawing the objection, worked out the policy-grounded replies with the client before they posted, and planned the rewrite that would follow whichever way the discussion closed.

Research funderWarning banner strategy

A scientific membership organization whose article had carried a warning banner for years. The advisory engagement sequenced the sourcing fixes ahead of the banner-removal request and set out how to work the Talk page with volunteers, in the open.
